Preface to Principles of Miracles

The 50 principles of miracles and the heavenly relationship principles are obscured in first portion of dictated text because Jesus is busy preparing Helen Shuckman and Bill Thetford to be really into their job as scribes.

I got a lot out of their personal experiences as scribes and relationships during this period because it’s the only place that, Jesus counsels them in their daily with others … taxi drivers, Helen and Bill’s Columbia University psychologist associates  and friends in New York. So I was able to get a sense of how this might work in my daily life interactions with people I encounter.

What I leaned from Jesus’s Course is that I am not a human body that dies. The Bible says God created us in his own image. He is a spirit so we are really spirits that cannot die and are connected  or “At One” with Him and everyone that we formerly experienced as separate from us. So we always were and always will be alive and happiness is a choice while we are visiting.

There’s happiness ultimately and certainly some Peace here and there in your transition to it when you can understand and personally apply any part of the original scribal notes He dictated.

Some people get more from the workbook. Some use the search capabilities of the pdf. I found easier reading and great spiritual value studying the Song of Prayer, Forgivness and Healing. It may be fun to go that one in a family grouping discussing the forms of forgiveness ie. I’ll forgive you but …ha ha, prayer for a bicycle? No that goes on our Christmas list. Anyway check it out. Might be fun.

Some spin the words and stop or randomly or touch the table of contents to see what the message for the day is. Jesus does say “there are no accidents”, you meet someone in an elevator and it’s all part of the plan. Some open the Bible to a random page and it’s why that has worked for many people.

Jesus's explanation of what miracles are and what they aren’t are mixed in with His editing suggestions, comments about psychology, Freud,  Mary Baker Eddy, Casey and more.

Be well and ever so often for fun, try being in a state of readiness for a happiness and laughter moment. Convince yourself there really IS no fear in those moments and your spiritual eyes will light up.
